Kona Hawaii

June-July, 2006

Firstly I'd like to express my gratitude to my sister-in-law who graciously offered up to us her time share in Kona, Hawaii. We stayed at the Outrigger Sea Cliff resort. Since this was a much different vacation than all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, I have chosen not to review it as such. I will say this, Kona Hawaii captured my heart and I plan to retire here :).

This was not my first trip to Hawaii. My first landed me in Honolulu and lasted 3 years lol. Of course, I was younger then and was totally content living from paycheck to paycheck and renting a one bedroom apartment with 5 people lol :).

Kona is much different than any of the other islands. It offers much more diversity in terms of landscape. Kona is a quaint beautiful sea town on the 'sunny' side of the island. We explored the island in our rented car and did one 'circle island' trip to Hilo and the volcanoes. I'll let the pictures and captions speak for themselves.

I wish everyone the opportunity to visit here one day. Heck, perhaps you can come visit me when I retire lol
